I read this book recently, and it encouraged me to heal my relationship with money.
Jen is one of my favourite authors because she says it like it is. She calls you out and is honest about her own shit too, like two best friends chatting on the couch.
She makes you feel seen, exposed even. She speaks from lived experience, which strengthens her words and credibility for me. She's been through hard times, navigated her own toxic patterns, made some new choices to change her and found her version of success. As someone with a past of financial trauma, this book called me out in all the right ways. If you're in your era of being broke, self-doubting, paralyzed by fear of the unknown, and struggling to trust yourself (or that higher power), she inspires you to do the damn thing!
She explains patterns and how our relationship with money could be sabotaging the flow of abundance.
What I also love is that she included self-reflective exercises to help you take an honest look at your relationship with money and shed a light on your harmful patterns and limited beliefs. She invites you into her wisdom and self-awareness instead of just shoving her theories down your throat.
She validated my financial trauma and encouraged me to heal it.
